DESCRIPTION
LittleSnapper allows you to take screenshots of an entire webpage, or specific portions of your screen in general, without cluttering your desktop with a ton of icons. It then organizes those snaps into a library where you can tag, rate and comment them.

It also comes with some built-in vector tools that allow you to mark up your images with text, callouts, shapes, lines, arrows, blurs and highlighting. Best of all, the annotations are all non-destructive allowing you to hide and show them at a moment's notice.

Then share the snaps with your clients colleagues and friends. To make that possible, we've built in support for Flickr, image exports, FTP, SFTP and our own webservice especially for LittleSnapper users: QuickSnapper.

PIK80  Wow, one of the best products I have used that is still version 1.x. I want to give the app 5 stars but there a fair number of bugs that are preventing me from doing so. Smart folders are pretty broken as well as doing a search in the search box. The search results don't seem to come up unless you type in a full tag. All the other apps I have used start loading search results even after the first letter you enter in. All in all this is a billion times better then Grab or Command-Shift-3 (or4) if you are working with a large quantity of screen captures like I do. Great job Realmac!

MACLOVER1.1  Great !!! It would be PERFECT if it could also act as a multiclipboard with basic textedit features. HUD transparency theme would be cool. Apart from that the show hotkey does not toggle to hide the window :-(And I would really like the option to float the window on top of other when needed...

ICONZ113  This app is awesome. I like it a lot. Perfectly stable, easy to maintain your screen shots in the library thats built in, lots of options for placing emphasis on parts of a photo using shapes, arrows and text. Also when you purchase the app you have access to the free online image hosting it provides which is also fast and easy. After taking a photo it appears in the library then you have the choice to upload it to flickr, web-snapper, or another FTP, after your upload your provided with the link that is automatically placed on your clipboard for pasting.

HMURCHISON  You know what is also free? The demo. If you want to know what the big deal is or give the app a whirl you can simply download it and try it for the demo period.

FOOFOORABBIT  The beauty of this apps comes from the organization it provides as well as the annotation, crop, highlight and blur tools. If you don't require these features, then this app is probably not for you.

It's akin to saying that you don't understand what the big deal is about Numbers and Excel considering you can do everything you want to do with Calculator.app and...it's free.

ESPIRIDION  IMO this application is overpriced. I got my license from the Macheist bundle, otherwise I would not have purchased it.

I use Snapz Pro X. LittleSnapper seems to include some useful features, such as taking screenshots of an entire webpage. Unfortunately this did not work for me using iCab or Firefox. It did work using Safari, but I don't use Safari.

I may use it eventually if I want to quickly add some shapes, arrows, etc., to a picture. Text annotations are useful, but customization is important. I could not resize the text boxes, or separate text within a box using "Return" or "Enter"

Not bad for a version 1 application, but far from being worthy of 5 stars, especially considering its price.

Hopefully it will become a more polished application.

AV  So far so very good. Its not perfect but ive given it 5 Stars because it has helped me alot already and has massive potential. There is of room for improvement on every level - functionality, presentation & stability. I am hoping this will come..... then it will be a killer app truly worthy of 5 stars.

I hope the next release finetunes the annotation functions (text wrap, font etc) and a tagging system similar to how to delicious does tagging ... anyway, ive listed suggestions on the application forum so i wont repeat them all here.

Please continue to develop this application to its full potential! (and justify the 5 Stars!!)

JOEL MUELLER  I'd really like to see the webpage snapshot function be able to take a snapshot of the entire webpage -- just not the part of the webpage that is visible on the user's screen. This would make a handy feature for website designers as well as people trying to share information with small screens (laptops).

ABILSTEIN  Unless I'm confused about what you're asking for, it already does this. Use the Little Snapper Browser, load a long page, and take a Webshot. It will capture the full scrollable area of the web page. Very handy feature.

NEOX  I understand it does for *some* web pages, but not all. Sometimes web elements get in the way and then it is not a clean capture. If you bought it as part of Machiest, try taking a snapshot of your web receipt and you will know exactly what I am talking about...

Other then a few issues like this, it is a neat screenshot app, especially if you like to organize your snaps. I do agree that it is a bit overpriced though. More like $20 - $25, IMHO...

But I guess that is the way it is with RMS. After all RapidWeaver used to be $39 and now is $79... I guess the bad economy has forced some companies to raise prices, while others are lowering them.

TRINIMAC  Mac OS X has it own built in Capture utility called 'Grab'

Grab can capture screen, window, time screen or selection.

Best of all it's free.
