What's annoying is that this comes as an installer, and the installer gleefully goes about its business on a PPC mac. Yet since this is Intel-only, the uninstaller will not run, so I had to use Find Any File to locate and remove the TuneUp droppings.

Looks like the developer's attention to detail needs a tune up.

LOUNGE DELUXE  I tried the demo just for the cover art functionality, but I ended up disappointed because the only way to have music files examined for missing cover art is by having the entire music library analyzed. But I want to be able to point the app what music files to analyze, instead of my entire library of 90,000 songs. To be honest I didn't have the time to sit the entire analyzation out, so I quit the app and therefor can't say anything about how accurate the cover art is that TuneUp found for my music files.

I also tried an app called CoverScout in demo but it had the same limitation (or the same approach) as TuneUp, so I'll have to keep on looking for the right cover art app for me.

Me again...after having used this super soft for hours now I can tell that I love it.

Strange I did not know about it...as I try a lot of softs.

It does a lot more than just cleaning and finding the visuals...it gives links to video, show where are artists playing in my area etc...

Very happy to have found this...

Just dloaded and tried...it does what is said and in an elegant way...Have a licence for CoverScout and Songgenie...this one does all in one ;-)

Give a try, worth it...by me about 80 or 90 percent found...but I have a lot of special songs.

THYX  Despite of - or rather because of - my initial 'experience' (i.e. v.1.0.6 crashing my system due to messing round system folders),

I'm curious, too, to hear if they fixed it, before trying it out myself.

BIGIDEAS  I've used Tuneup for a while and just upgraded. I'm pleased, it meets my expectations and I can't see what the fuss is all about. It cleans up iTunes, adds album art and gives me info about the artists. Now if you consistently rip off music from Usenet it may not work perfectly every time, but it does manage to get it right at least 90% of the time for me. Just a suggestion to anyone using it - remove duplicates and get your library as organized as you can before you start.
