Google Earth Plug-in... Google Earth... in your browser... on your Mac!
Google Earth Plug-in and its JavaScript API let you embed Google Earth, a true 3D digital globe, into your web pages. Using the API you can draw markers and lines, drape images over the terrain, add 3D models, or load KML files, allowing you to build sophisticated 3D map applications. If you have an existing Maps API site, you can 3D-enable your page with as little as one line of code.
WHITEROCK Plugin still does not work in Safari (64 bit mode). The error message when using 64 bit still has not been changed to something useful. To use the plugin with the latest Safari in Snow Leopard you quit Safari, go to the app itself and Get Info then select the checkbox "Open in 32-bit mode". Of course you are losing the benefit of Safari in 64-bit mode. (Version 5.1.3533.1731)
SCOTTYO At least they provide a rev number, but without associated notes (which MacUpdate invariably posts, when/if they're available, good stuff!) I'm not inclined to install it. Going to the MacUpdate-listed developer website, I see no sign of release notes; matter of fact, this appears to be a developer-oriented site, everything focussed on the API. Not really suitable for general users.
C'mon Google, tell us more about what's happening with this plugin! (Version 4.3.11528.8566)
