EDORELD  Runs perfectly fine on my MacBook with Mac OS X 10.5.7

Fastest I've ever seen on the Mac. Simple, easy-to-use interface.

The only thing I see they could improve is the time it takes for the application to close. But I've seen that as well in other torrent clients.

Overall, great little app.

Yes, that's right. It's a torrent program that can't create torrents. You will have to keep another app on your computer if you to create torrents.

ANONYMOUS  Last version still buggy as all get out on PPC machines. Why support the PPC if you aren't going to get it to work correctly? I had a torrent that was 95% done. UTorrent crashed, and made me start over again? WTF?

FORMICA  I'm a big fan of uTorrent, but since I upgraded to 10.5.7 uTorrent 0.9.1.2 crashes every couple of hours. It doesn't matter if I set it to Limit upload rate manually or automatically. Anyone else having this problem?

ANONYMOUS  You have a PPC or intel box? Because I haven't heard ANYONE with the experience you've had with it on a PPC.

ANONYMOUS  Still buggy as all get out on PPC machines. Why even claim support when the program barely works? That is what I hate about most applications that are ported from Windows. They usually BARELY work, and have just a few of the features the PC side has. NO THANKS! I cant even get it to stay loaded without it crashing on me, or hanging until I force quit it. Anyone have any advice for PPC owners? :\

AVIDMCUSER  vuze gives me excellent results and runs on java as far as i know. never had it crash and maxes out my bandwidth. yes its got more to offer than a simple low-footprint app but its stable, ram is cheap, and so is hard drive space. go with what works for you and stop mucking around is my advice.

ELEGRAPHY  Why not give Transmission a try? It's easy to use and works great on my Powerbook G4 Titanium.

ANONYMOUS  Yeah Transmission is better than uTorrent. At least right now. I hope the Utorrent folks stop putting out half-assed software for the Mac. :(((

I followed the instructions on http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/webui/

"Enable and configure the WebUI in µTorrent (Preferences -> Advanced -> WebUI"

There is no advanced section in the preferences!

MICHAEL THE HAGGARD  The update is broken and unusable.

But I am dropping this product because of the poor customer support... did I say poor? I meant rude and unhelpful. Repeated requests for assistance on their forums are met with repeated rudeness and the general message that we are all too stupid to use this product.

Stay away from this product until they get their act straight.
