BuhDumTsh is a free OS X tool that hits the drums and then exits itself. It plays the well-known 'Buh-dum-tsh' sequence often played on a drum kit to emphasize the funnyness of a remark (sometimes sarcastically).
Assign to a hotkey using a tool such as QuickSilver, then hit that hotkey when someone makes a bad joke. BuhDumTsh will quit directly after playing the sound file once (sound file included in application).
WILLEM VERVUURT Why not! I am used to keeping no applications in the dock and starting everything with Quicksilver, so I did not even realize that is also an option.
you're right, this will probably work on earlier versions. But I have only had access to a Leopard system to test it so far, and I don't want to advertise any untested possibilities.
Should you find that it works on earlier versions as well, please notify me and I will update the system requirements. (Version 1.0)
