Express Invoice allows you to manage client accounts, create invoices and apply payments. You can then print, email or fax your invoices to your clients directly from the application.

This free invoice software allows you to create re-occurring invoices for ongoing services and link to credit card gateways to easily process payments for goods and services. Express Invoicing also includes a number of standard reports such as unpaid accounts, payments, sales person, accounting reports and more.

LAPRIAB I just downloaded the software on my computer. So far I am VERY impressed! I have researched other invoice software for MAC and I have only found personal finance from Quicken. Thank you developers for creating this for small businesses! I will take the advice given to the customer about billing hourly for freelance and download that software as well. Thanks again!

MONKING I ran this from the disk image to feel it out. I believe it asks for way too much privileged information. Why does it need to run a web server? Why does it need root access? Why does it want to run in the background? I suppose it's somewhat civilized to allow the app to function while dodging these land mines, but they shouldn't be there. I suspect spyware, but I didn't stick around to find out.

It's designed for selling and shipping products, rather than billing time for freelance work. So I'll keep looking

NCHMICHAEL No Spyware, the web server component is so that multiple users can access the same data from different machines.

For invoicing freelance time you should have a look at the HourGuard product as it records the time you spend doing tasks, creates a timesheet and from that can create an invoice.

ZEBRAMAN I agree with the strong level of discomfort for the installation asking for unlimited access to root level from the get go... makes me wonder, and this product is so new. It looks great, and looks professional. But there is no history to go on. Has anyone successfully installed this and is using it? Tell us how wonderful it is. I appreciate the developer's comment (Thanks Michael), but of course you're going to say wonderful things, lol. So, why is this product free, and why is "download and install it now!" pushed so frequently on the developer site?

ZEBRAMAN I accidentally clicked the "unsmiley face" on my own comment, but I did go ahead and load this software and it's great! Especially for a free product, I can use multiple companies, I can set up quotes and convert them later to orders. So far so good. I'm very pleased with it. Also, I was able to deny the server access as I installed, which felt better at the time. I searched for NCH Software and can only find software links, no bad reviews. So far "thumbs up!"
