DESCRIPTION
MindNode Pro is an elegant and simple-to-use mindmapping application for the Macintosh. It was created with the user in mind and features a very clean interface for quickly creating visually appealing mind maps. MindNode Pro is based on the same code-base as MindNode and provides additional functionality that help to improve your productivity. The new features are integrated very carefully into the application and only surface when they are really required.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.4.3:
  • Fixes a random freeze when working with Thai language (the bug probably also affected other languages).
  • Correctly sets the insertion marker when clicking on a link on Snow Leopard.
  • Fixes smart layout when editing a title and resizing a node.
  • Triple clicking on a node no longer exits edit mode and correctly selects the entire text.
  • Changed the line connection points of filled nodes. This change was necessary, to avoid covering of nodes.
  • When reconnecting or creating new nodes the filled and constraining style will inherit.
  • Fixes wrong descriptions in export dialog of german and japanese localization.
  • Toggling Smart Layout is now registering undo actions.
  • Find now unfolds found nodes. This fixes a bug where under certain conditions a found node wasn't correctly displayed.
  • Unfolding a node now selects the entire subbranch. This will make it easier to reposition a newly unfolded subbranch.
  • Fixed the "Choose File..." button of the link inspector.
  • Fixed an issue where the header and footer were cut of when printing. The fix made it necessary to increase the printing margins when printing a header and footer.
  • Fixes a crash when using iPhone sharing.

RANDALFLYNN_YAHOO.COM  Really like this app but am trying to decide between this and MyThoughts (which costs quite a lot more). Only real advantage of the latter, it seems, is that it allows images and icons to be used (and provides a huge library of them). Do you have any plans to include this kind of feature, and if so, when? And would there be a fee increase (which would be fair, of course)? This is the only feature I'm waiting for. Thanks a lot! Randal.

LUBOMIR HERKO  I was looking for many things like this.. I have XMIND 2009 license as a part of macheist or macupdate bundle.. but XMIND is just HUGE and I don't like ECLIPSE enviroment.. and this is kind of app what I was looking for.. very simple, COCOA, ... maybe this one is too simple, I miss drawind options and maybe creating custom connections between different nodes (eg. foreing keys in DB model).. cool app though.. Do you plan more features?

I'm currently working on the cross connection support and I hope to release it in the next revision of the application.

What exactly do you mean with drawing options? The ability to add a drawable canvas to the application? This something I don't actively consider at the moment.

STOSH1985  I really love this app... the only thing that has stopped me from buying Pro is the lack of cross-connecting nodes and the lack of a time frame for it's implementation. If that feature were implemented I would buy it in a heart beat and even pay twice what the developer is currently asking.

TICONUCK  It isn't obvious to me what the differences between MindNode Pro and MindNode are. Anyone? A nice comparative list of features for the 2 would be ideal, but I didn't see that on the developer's website or in the documentation. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

XPLICIT  MindNode Pro is a lean and easy to use mind mapping application. Want results fast? Use this. The free version is great but the pro version has some nice additional features which make it even better.

This app is much more quality than the ones I tried recently. No bugs, no flaws, no glitches. Really good work!!!
