DESCRIPTION
Overlay... I run a photo studio in London, and I was looking for Mac software that would enable me to make a semi-transparent floating window on my computer. I wanted to be able to open any image to use as a floating positioning guide over the actual image that I'm shooting.

I use Adobe Lightroom, and I wanted to be able to float the art-director's layout over my photo in Lightroom, to check that my shot was a good fit. Sometimes I wanted to put another element of a composite over my image to check position and perspective, or I wanted to have an image visible over my Lightroom capture so I could match it.

I couldn't find any software to do this, so I wrote it myself: Overlay for Mac is the result. It works with Lightroom, Aperture, ACR or any OS X software.

ANDREW ROSS  This is an extremely well thought out piece of software for the working photographer, it is designed from a photographers viewpoint and really works well across many workflow sets.

Any photographer who is use to working with tracing paper on a larger format ground screen or layouts on laptop tethered cameras will highly appreciate the simplicity this program can bring to their workflow.

Highly recommended addition to my photo editing software, would be great if this was a plugin to Aperture too - if that was possible, this really would be a 5*'s program across the board!

BEIGE  $5 yes, $10 maybe but $25 is far too pricey for this. If Art Rage goes for $25, this should be $5.

REAL_MACINFO  Seems to be a interesting tool. Shame, that nobody else thought about how useful something like this could be, before. So, kudos to the developer!
