JAYBIRD1  Does not appear to support US carriers like AT&T.

    ***..

SPACEC0W  First experience, has crashed on loading services the automatic way. Crashed doing it manually, but now I have "51". Crashes when I try to add a service. Absolutely unusable. But a great idea!!! 2 stars for effort and 1 for it looking like it would work nice...

    I am using Mac OS X 10.5.6 on a PowerBook G4 1.5 Ghz.

    *....

EJI  Seems to have some memory leaks (10MB on launch, but climbs quickly thereafter); tons of interface bugs (changed account names don't stick, services are listed as "never updated" directly after an update, many essential fields and drop-downs are still in Italian); a lot of popular services are missing (where are sipGate and the US carriers?); and the one working service I could find, Vyke, repeatedly froze and called up the spinning beach ball after 40% of the SMS was sent.

Oh, and quirky Address Book formattings, like, say, +44 for the country code and area codes in parentheses, appear to cause PiggySMS to short-circuit.

The idea sounds promising, but a 1.0 release this is most certainly not. More like a 0.1.

MITCH BICQUET  This definitely looks like unfinished, unpolished software.

Address book parsing is ugly and shows a lot of null null data and is hard to navigate.

selecting smsdiscount no account would not allow me to click ok until i fill in an account

also this would be good as a dashboard widget.

SPIDY65  Very useful app... when it will match!

I've tried to use three Italian accounts (Alice, TIM and Vodafone); this is the report:

Alice (10 steps) => error occurred before asking for captcha ("service not available", but with WebSMS Widget it matches - login elements verified)

TIM =>ok until it asks for captcha (however the captcha window is too small, it's very hard to read); after that "connection established, downloading..."; after several seconds/minutes, if i push on "continue" button, it aborts

VODAFONE => error occurred before asking for captcha ("site on maintenance"; however, also WebSMS Widget does'nt actually match (but not before asking for captcha; only after, in the window asking for captcha, it appears an "?" instead of carachters, also with "Vodafone Italia NEW plugin" installed).

So, I'll be glad to use this app instead of WebSMS Widget, but... I'll wait for the next updates...
