The new info window is a great idea, thx again.

I would suggest some features:

-empty caches

-download button in the new info window

-It could fine also to be able to drag a url from a browser onto the mactubes dock's icon, or window, maybe add services for mactubes also.

IMHO  Tried this program in 2008, but didn't succeed to download YouTube videos. Tried it today again - and now it works great. Thank you very much, developer. This is simple, fast, just what we like.

KEDOS  This is a great app. Under normal circumstances, it would be much easier to install a firefox extension to download youtube videos, but this program has its perks. If you have a long list of youtube videos that you want to download, for instance, this is much faster. You don't have to navigate through web pages. I wish there were a quicker way to download. For example, you could set preferences to download highest quality available, medium quality, etc. Then, you could just click a download button next to the video to automatically download. It's not too bad the way it is now, but I think it could be better.

Overall, a really great utility that works perfectly, but it isn't normally the best solution to download a youtube video.

DRDUL  I've been getting an awful lot of "this video is no longer available" messages with MacTubes, even though the videos are available on YouTube and can be embedded on other sites. Not sure why this is happening, but it's unfortunate, as MacTubes is otherwise quite promising.

TIMCRAWF  Very nice program. Not mentioned anywhere is its ability to access and download the h.264/mp4 format. This is the main feature I was looking for.

I'd been using TubeSock (which I paid for) until it stopped working. After writing several unanswered emails to the developer, I decided to look for something else. MacTubes is free and works better. I wish I'd have found it a long time ago. Thanks for a great application, mametunes! Forget TubeSock - MacTubes is the answer...
