THATSTHEWAY  Excellent program! Does just what I want it to! And a quick tip for everyone... If you would like music from YouTube, just download it as an MP4 in MacTubes and open the file in QuickTime Pro (QuickTime 7 is still available for Snow Leopard). Then choose File > Export from the menu and choose Sound to AIFF. Then open that in iTunes, double click on it, and choose Create MP3 Version... from the context menu! Again... Great program!

DJ PROTEGE  Cant download videos from youtube, I keep getting Pop up stating," Cannot start download", "please check log", "Log" or "Cancel", log shows a, "Can not parse html...." but i wont copy and paste it as its long. If the Develop wants to fix or contact me for the log, that would be awesome. But until then im using a different app. djprotege@ymail.com

MACMAN8  I have encountered the same error message too. Once or twice, when I returned to a video, it did download later; however, most of the time, the error message kept repeating itself, and i just "tossed in the towel" and gave up on those particular videos. You are not alone. Still, this is a wonderful application and I'm grateful to have it.

SUCKERPUNCH86  The app is great but it seems that it consumes more memory over time as you download more videos. CPU usage goes up as well.

The new info window is a great idea, thx again.

I would suggest some features:

-empty caches

-download button in the new info window

-It could fine also to be able to drag a url from a browser onto the mactubes dock's icon, or window, maybe add services for mactubes also.

IMHO  Tried this program in 2008, but didn't succeed to download YouTube videos. Tried it today again - and now it works great. Thank you very much, developer. This is simple, fast, just what we like.
