    *....

STRIDER23700  I downloaded this to a Mac Powerbook Pro running OSX 10.5 and the current version of Address Book.

First thing: the app may be technically free, but it is apparently not free to send SMS (I have an ATT sms service).

Second thing: the app couldn't digest a gmail email account and hug with its panel open. I had to force quit Address Book

Finally, there is no easy/obvious way to uninstall this, nor is there an email link on the web site.

I would definitely stay away from this.

VC  If you need to uninstall this (or any other Address Book plugin), go to:

    /Library/Address Book Plug-Ins/

There you can delete any plugins (bundles) that you want. You need to quit Address Book first. When you relaunch the application, it's gone.

    I hope it helps.

ENN  The lack of "free" given the description is certainly misleading!

I'm also trying to uninstall it, but it's not in the address book plug-ins folder. That folder is empty, but the application is still there when I right click on a phone number.

    Arrrgh!
