DESCRIPTION
Bréviaire d'orthographe Française software is in French only because it deals with French language rules.

Great app! It lacks a dictionary though, for anyone whose installed Apple Dictionary is the English version one.

ISSANDR EL AMRANI  This is more of a grammer reference than a teaching tool for French - i.e. it assumes you know French already but need to check something.

EASER  Whereas I genuinely appreciate the time and trouble a developer does for this, it seems odd that one would already have to be fluent in French in order to understand a program that is supposed to assist with becoming fluent in French.

FREDDUCKER  Well, I think you miss the point. Nobody in the world speaks French perfectly, especially not the French! It is a language that has so many difficulties and pitfalls, that even most French people don't speak it perfectly and sometimes cannot be sure of which gender a rarely used word belongs to. This program is aimed at French people, yes, maybe! And that's why it's extremely useful. You would rather have to question, why are 99 percent of the WWW's websites in English, while we still live in a world where English isn't everybody's mother tongue. There are tons of websites online that can help you with learning the basics of any language, but as usual with internet knowledge it is either limited, or remains on the surface of things. For once a programs addresses unknown issues and difficulties that most people don't care or don't know about.
