DESCRIPTION
Sequel Pro is a fork of the abandoned CocoaMySQL project, with plans to expand to other database engines and improve the user interface. For more information, visit the Sequel Pro website.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 0.9.5 is jam packed with tons of new features and bug fixes. This latest build of Sequel Pro is the most polished and feature packed release so far.

As of 0.9.5, Sequel Pro now requires Mac OS X Leopard 10.5+ to run.

If you are still running Mac OS X Tiger, don’t stress, we have a Tiger build just for you. The Tiger build has been optimised for users running Mac OS X Tiger, and it is not recommended for Leopard users.

0.9.5 brings over 60 new features & tweaks:

  • The import issues experienced since 0.9.4 have been resolved.
  • Interface across all windows has been cleaned up for a more consistent OS X look and feel
  • The preferences have been redesigned from the ground up.
  • The auto-updating framework has been updated. Avoids a number of previous problems.
  • Connection window redesigned functionality wise.
  • Query editor now has syntax colouring, line numbers, and whole host of other goodies
  • Console window has live filtering as well as export.
  • Printing now automatically paginates and supports page set up
  • Various memory leaks and bug fixes
  • … and many more
REQUIREMENTS

MONDELE  Long time fan of CocoaMySQL. This is slightly nicer in some ways, vastly better in others. Specifically, I find that certain queries run considerably faster in Sequel Pro than they did in CMSQL.

I would like some of the user management that's available in phpMyAdmin or Webmin to be present in one of the GUI tools.

I haven't been using this long enough to really evaluate its stability, but so far so good.
