XANTEEN  Just noticed that there is no way to export/write GeoTags to the EXIF data of your images. Geographic data is stored in a database, separate from the image. You have to pay for the pro version if you want this function.

The program also creates a large database that contains copies of all your original photos. While this may be safe, there isn't a way to turn this off if all you want to do is geotag images without maintaining yet another image database.

    **...

XANTEEN  Phototrackr for the mac is colossal PIA to use.

The developers lost their way as they set out to produce a GeoTagging app. What they ended up with is a photo editing tool with GeoTagging support tacked on.

The core functionality (GeoTagging) s buried in a dialog box that is easily overlooked on the last page of the main dialog box.

Since it's a free program, it's hard to knock it on value. It does work and seems stable. It offers a bunch of export options like making Flash galleries and uploading to Flickr.

All those are smart and well executed features that make the contrast between program's poor corp functionality and it's bells & whistles all the more stark.
