DESCRIPTION
iKanji is a Kanji learning tool featuring flash cards and different testing modules. iKanji contains 2230 Kanji, that includes Japanese school grade Kanji up to level 6 and JLPT levels 1 to 4. In addition there are 214 Kanji radicals. Nearly 20,000 example words are also provided in Kanji and Kana with their meaning in English.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.2: New features
- iKanji now contains over 820 stroke animations.
- The selection of example compounds has been improved *.
- Adds an import and export function for kanji notes to allow them to be shared more easily.
- Improves the way example compounds are picked for each kanji which usually results in there being more examples per kanji.
* Existing users will need to restore the built-in kanji database to get the improved set of compounds. This can be done through iKanji's preferences window. Please note this will lose any changes you have made to your kanji library (added or removed kanji and example compounds). Use the export notes feature to backup your kanji notes first if necessary.
Fixes
- Fixes a bug that stopped kanji notes from being stored in the database.
- Fixes the 'Restore Default Sets' option in iKanji's preferences.
- Fixes a bug where example compounds were not shown immediately for the first kanji returned by a search.
