DESCRIPTION

Send To CMI... One of the few things that Windows has that Mac OS X doesn't, is that nifty "Send To" contextual menu item (CMI). With it, you can send (i.e. 'copy') files and folders to a floppy disk or your desktop (along with a few other places), just by right-clicking. Since this is actually a very useful thing to be able to do, we decided to bring this capability to Mac OS X. And, since this is the Mac, we decided to make it better than the Windows equivalent.

Once you've installed the Send To CMI, you can simply use the Finder to select a file (or files or folder or folders), that you want to send to a destination. Then, right-click (or ctrl-click if you are using a one-button mouse), select "More" and then select "Send [your file name] To" from the pop-up menu.

You can also easily create new destinations using a single menu item built right in to the Send To CMI.
