DESCRIPTION
Localhostr Widget provides a near-instant way to share any type of file you want. Using the service from localhostr.com, the widget will upload your file (or even more than one by selecting multiple files) and provide a link you can use as soon as it’s done. All files are stored in a “Recently Uploaded Files” area, and if you have a localhostr account, you can even log in and have your files saved to your online history. The widget also features Growl support (if Growl is available), so you’ll know straight away when your file is finished uploading. All of that, available with a beautiful, expandable (and shrinkable) design that is a pleasure to use.

DORIAN GREY  I fully agree with the previous postings! The widget looks absolutely stunning and works great, but if I dont know where I upload the data the service is not of much use for me ... maybe it will replace ImageShack for me, but I guess this is far beneath its real potential.

MAIL3  I think Steve hit it right on the head: cool widget, works fine etc. But 50MB is really not much nowadays and I can't get a localhostr account at all. Tried a lot. Like the author of this widget: No mail or other contact is to be found anywhere @ localhostr's site nor on the widget author's site.

This kills my confidence to whom I send my data.

Bummer.

STEVEN JAY COHEN  Interesting, but I am put off by the 50mb limit. I am a voice actor and often move around files larger than that.

I wanted to tell this to the developer but could find no contact link on either localhostr's page or the home page of the developer. That made me even less likely to use this widget.

I think the widget is beautiful and this is a great use of the dashboard, but without a valid/simple method of contacting the developer, I can't put something this important to my home business in the hands of this product.
