LPACHECO  Don't loose your time on this game. It plays by unusual rules (you can't take pieces off the board unless you roll the exact number the piece is in) and it doesn't event detected that the game is finished. It's pretty rough on the graphics also, but since it is free I shouldn't argue.

BBOP  I agree with ISCOTTS: Flash needs to chill....

1) The game is FREE. Buddy took the time to build something decent and now is sharing it with the rest of us.

2) Game runs nicely. Play interface is simple and obvious.

3) This game has a nice foundation to build upon and release improvements for the future. We are dealing with a single developer - not EA Games here.

4) Game works fine with single-button mouse.

5) It's just backgammon for pete's sake!

TUFTY  Not a bad little Backgammon game once the kinks are ironed-out. Graphics are attractive and functional.

Flash needs to chill-out.

FLASH1296  Absolutely worthless.

Do not bother to download.

Far and away the superior Backgammon application on the Mac platform is :BG Blitz"

Try the demo.

It plays with some kind of weird starting board - that is NOT played in any country as far as I know.

It is intolerably slow.

It has NO preferences.

It uses no logic for its seemingly random moves.

It has no "doubling cube"

I found that just to move the pieces I had to right-click to do so.

I learned to play in 1969 and played in real-life tournaments from 1970 - 2006 "coast-to-coast" in the U.S.A. etc.

ZONSOFTWARE  Dear Flash1296,

I feel really sorry for having released this version. First (in 1.0) there was a mistake in the logic and I solved it in 1.0.1 but I forgot 2 things:

-Place the pieces in the correct position again (the actual position was to force the logic error).

-Reactivate the computer logic. I turned it down and actually it only evaluates 1 move, the worst solution.

I have already solved it and will post it later today.

Sorry again
