ANONYMOUS  If you look at what SSHKeychain does and what Meerkat does, they are not quite the same. Specifically: app triggers, Growl, Bonjour, AppleScript, and much more. If you don't need those features, then SSHKeychain may suit you just fine.

DAEMONI  The app is Great.

So much so, that I bought a license.

Problem is, I didn't receive my reg.info, and have been trying to contact devs since last week to no avail.

Contacted them using the form on their site, through two separate email address and even DM the user on Twitter. Not one single reply or a hint that they received my msgs.

And now, I resort to creating an account on MU, just to review the app and post a comment.

So now the trial period is close to expiring, and I'm still without my license info.

This will definitely taint my view of the devs and the app, and will most likely sour my usage experience with.

Here's hoping they see this, and get back to me.

INCANUS  Just to follow up on this, the customer first contacted me on June 7, saying the license had been delayed after two days of non-receipt. The instructions on the website were not followed properly, which is the reason the license did not get mailed.

Within a day after that, this review was posted. So I only had a day to respond after being notified, during which time I was traveling (it was a Sunday).

I responded the next day (Monday, June 9) with the license info, as well as an apology for the delay and an explanation of a glitch in the website that should have provided the license instantly for download, as well as by email had the instructions been followed.

I don't mean to sound curt or upset; I would just like to respond to the above with the details and my good faith efforts to recompense the customer.

DAEMONI  @incanus,

Thanks, I did receive the reg.info and your explanation.

As for your other points, I'll endeavor to reply to your feedback/contact email, rather than have a protracted discussion in an open forum.

Cheers.

MRK  Pros: Works as advertised, handles reconnects automatically, has a very well-thought-out interface.

Cons: Ugly dock icon, even uglier menubar icon.

Summary: I registered.
