SYZZYGY  This thing is hideous. It's a blight upon my desktop, a veritable UI design disaster. an esthetic bummer. It looks clunky and is clunky.

Possibly designed by an adolescent without a clue. Who in their right mind would buy it?

The developer needs some intensive training in proper UI design.

And the YouTube flick demonstrating Spectasia in action? Chuckle, chuckle!

Sorry, developer, for being a bit brutal, but you need to be told. Unless you get your act together and learn proper design technique, I'm afraid that you'll find little, if any, success

as a software developer.

ROB.H  I watched the video and have to agree that while an interesting idea, this unfortunately lacks the polish to make a viable alternative to either any of Leopard's built in navigation tools, or 3rd party app launchers out there, yet.

LEE123  I never could get this to download from mediaFire or was that mediaSmolder? Anyway while I was waiting for forever/never I found this Spectasia Movie. Yes, a movie! Can we say cult classic. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KjVnhQ5e4g&eurl=http://www.spectasia.com/

I would definitly be exploring the windows 7 market for this baby or maybe one of the mobile OS could use it.

DREMWKR  This thing belongs on Window 7, the developer should sell it to them for 7 figures. Steve Balmer would love it.

MACNERD1984  Good Lord, that's utterly hideous. I tried this, but couldn't get past the revolting look of the thing. With the way that Leopard looks these days, Spectasia just looks like some weird throwback from the past. The author's criminal aesthetic talents are also exposed in the installer screen. It's worth downloading the app simply to see it in it's foul glory. In terms of use, the app really seems no more useful than arranging the items on your desktop in a similar pattern. There is no 3D space through which to navigate and no cool animations, save for a little shadow appearing under each icon as you select it.

I feel bad to have caned this thing so badly, but I really can't find anything endearing to say about it, no matter how I try. It's by far the least useful and most unpleasant looking piece of software I've come across for a very long time. Perversiontracker would be proud!

GARYI  First thing I would say is move to a quicker hosting plan.
