MAHOJAS  As stated on the developer's page, this plugin works with Safari running in 32bit Snow Leopard mode, but this is only a temporary partial fix.

I tried this and it works, however the "customize toolbar" pane will only show the Stumbi buttons, which then can be dragged to the toolbar. Because I had already configured all the toolbar buttons I need ( e.g. print, fill forms, home, etc.) in Safari before I installed Stumbi, I can live with that until the next version comes out.

If I want to switch back to the original "customize toolbar" pane with all the options like home, print, address bar & so on, so I can customize my toolbar, I will have to uninstall Stumbi with the uninstaller located in the .dmg file, and the original "customize toolbar" pane with all the options will be restored.

So for anyone who wants to use this version in 32bit Snow Leopard, this information may come in handy.

SCHMELDING  The 1.0.1 version won't install for me because it's telling me I have a newer version of SIMBL installed already. Why should this software install the SIMBL plugin when I already have it installed? Are you using an older version of SIMBL?

    Thanks.

JOE LAMB  Those having the 'newer version of SIMBL installed' problem, did you do as stated on the upgrade page and run the uninstaller to remove the previous version before you run the new installer package?

JAZZYGUY  5 Stars for a great plugin! I like a previous user will be happy to pat the small charge to have this in SDafari. It works fine in WebKit as well. Well designed and not intrusive this plug in works great.

JM4  I am only curious as to why this Stumbi for Safari is charging whilst its' Firefox brother is free? I know, someone has spent time programming and developing this, but it kinda throws me off knowing the original is available for free ;)

SUPERMANKD  Because stumbleupon itself makes the firefox extension, where this is made by another developer with little to gain if they don't charge for it. I think they should try to work out a deal with stumble upon so they could maybe offer it for free.

STEVEN GOODHEART  Wow, this works great! StumbleUpon in Safari, at last! That's one of the Add-ons I miss most when not using Firefox. This version doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Firefox version, like Channels and all of that, but it's got the main show -- Stumbling, rating, and sharing. I'm going to use it and when i get to my 100th stumble, going to buy it. Hard to beat for only $4, especially to get back one of my favorite fun web features. Haven't had a single glitch or problem, and have been able to log into two different StumbleUpon accounts I have with no problem. I'm rating this overall five star, with a 4 star for features, since it doesn't do everything that the Firefox version does.

MTCOBRA  After installing, paying the $4.00, creating a username and password ('Settings' on the Stumpi menu added to Safari's menu bar), everytime I click on 'Stumble' (same menu) I get window stating 'Incorrect username or password.'

Not impressed so far. Did I miss something somewhere???

MTCOBRA  Please disregard my earlier comment. I was expecting to receive a username/password from the creators of Stumbi that would allow me to use their software.

Instead the username/password that the program requests are the username/password that Stumble uses. Once I got that through my thick head, the program worked, and continues to provide to Safari users the same feature that I could only use before on FireFox.

I am now impressed, and apologize to all for my mistake.
