DESCRIPTION
With iTubeX Ultimate you can download videos from almost every website as easy as possible! You can choose to download the .flv, the .swf file or the high quality .mp4 file.
Videos from sites other than YouTube are only available in the .flv or .swf format but iTubeX Ultimate also has a feature to convert files into a lot of other filetypes, for the iPhone, iPod Touch, other mobile phones and even more filetypes!
iTubeX Ultimate is available in English and Dutch and it is Universal Binary.
You can use iTubeX Ultimate 5 times for free.
To keep using iTubeX Ultimate you have to buy a license for only $7.50.
You can press the 'PayPal Buy Now' button to buy a license when iTubeX Ultimate asks for your registration information.
You can also buy a license by clicking the 'Register' menu in the menubar of iTubeX Ultimate or you can go to the website and click 'Buy a license'.

JORIS VERVUURT Due to holidays I will not reply to any e-mails from Monday 6 July to Saturday 11 July. This also means that when you buy a license for iTubeX Ultimate or iConvertX between Monday 6 July and Saturday 11 July, you will not receive your registration information before Saturday 11 July. I will contact PayPal to ask if they can temporary block my account from Monday 6 July to Saturday 11 July. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Roger Katz let me know that there was no link to the iPatch for iTubeX Ultimate and iConvertX on this page. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/31166/ipatch-for-itubex-ultimate-and-iconvertx It will replace the default transparent .flv icon with a nice QuickTime-like icon! Another thing: I can almost assure that the next version of iTubeX Ultimate will have a completely re-written core-engine. This means that you will no longer have to manually choose the correct source of the video that you want to download. Almost all websites that currently cannot be found in the 'select source' menu of iTubeX Ultimate 5.0, will be automatically recognized by the next release of iTubeX Ultimate! Joris Vervuurt

THUS.SPAKE.Z So far, version 5 is working beautifully for me. Earlier, when I attempted to download the zip file all I got was an html file which, when clicking on it took me back to the MacUpdate page. I asked the developer to send me a working download and he did so within 20 minutes. Now that's outstanding customer service! My license code was automatically accepted; I already had the previous iTubeX Ultimate version installed and didn't have to enter the code # myself. I've got nothing but praises for the app as well as the developer. It's been an incredibly good experience.

ROGER KATZ I have had the same download problem that is described here, as well as having this download problem with two earlier versions of iTubeX Ultimate. The developer was kind to very promptly directly send me the I application. I agree that the developer deserves a round of thanks and applause for his excellent customer service with respect to giving prompt attention to working around this mysterious MacUpdate problem. By the way, despite the fact that I successfully download numerous MacUpdate applications (almost every day, for several months), I have recently experienced this same download problem with two other MacUpdate downloads.

THUS.SPAKE.Z I, too, have experienced that download glitch with the previous iTube X version. Developer thinks the problem is likely at MacUpdate's end. I've also experienced this glitch with a couple of other downloads here at MacUpdate. I Don't know what the probem is.(???)

JPDAMEN First I had to request a new license for a simple application-update. Then I had to re-enter my serial on every single update. Now I have to re-enter my serial after a textlesss error-message. This is very annoying!

JPDAMEN In the past I had to not only to re-enter the serial number a few times but also had to request a new one. And yes, I had to re-enter the serial for version 5.0 again as well. Oh well, I'll live ;) It's just that it is very annoying having bought the app and being nagged.

A new, sleek, much more user-friendly interface that anyone can understand, a lot of performance improvements and many other improvements can be found in iTubeX Ultimate 5.0. MVFERGUSON This is SUPERB software. I use it to download videos which I then use to help teach classes. Joris, the developer, is very friendly, prompt, and extremely responsive to requests for help and/or questions. It is my opinion that this app is well worth the money!
