DESCRIPTION
Agent Craig, the personal search agent.

Opportunity really only knocks once, that's why we made Agent Craig, an intelligent search agent that monitors Ebay auctions and Craig's List advertisements for the items or ads you want to find.

On the lookout for a specific vintage guitar? Looking for a job or apartment, need a date for tonight? Within a few seconds you can have Agent Craig tirelessly searching for the object of your desire in the background while you work or play.

If a new job opportunity, apartment, slightly used couch, personal ad or whatever you are on the hunt for crops up, you can be the first to spring on it - without needing to constantly check back to the site and saving on distractions.

  • Run searches unattended, around the clock
  • Track multiple search campaigns from different services in a single, unified application
  • Unobtrusive user interface stays hidden while not in use
  • Growl notifications let you know as soon as new search results are available
  • Plugin framework allows you to add new search types or stay up to date with changing sites
  • Built in note-taking lets you track progress on individual items ("sent email," "waiting for response," etc.)

QBOX  do not waste your money on this.

I find that I have to constantly re-enter the searches for them to work. and you can not narrow down your searches geographically.

but most important is this service is already free! just use the rss feed on the bottom of craigslist to send results to your Safari bar or Mac Mail account.

this works much much better than Agent Craig. AC is a good idea but they really did not put the time in to develop it. I am sorry that I wasted my money.

SIDDHARTHA  Nice software, but I think that 30$ is excessive for what amounts to a search engine.

I would pay up to 15$ for something like this, but 30$???

GCOGHILL  Only searches the main Cragslist cities, and no option to search all cities.

EQUAKE  Other than that does it do the job well and would you recommend $30 for it?

GCOGHILL  Because I don't live in one of the major cities, I didn't test it out further after noting this aspect.
