TWISTED  I like this application a lot, the full screen mode is a win :)

It needs still some improvements, for example more commands to download/backup, the ability to drag and drop images, and I would try to replicate the others flickr features - but improved :)

Another idea would be an improved photo grid: maybe with different design - why not a cover flow mode - and more information about the photos (is it private? how many new comments since my last visit? how many comments in total? which tags does it has? how much views? etc.)

RELUX  This is a nice app and it has tons of potential! I am not one to usually complain of prices of apps but I will say $19 is a bit excessive. If it was $9 i'd consider it.

JAYCE  Trouble! This update doesn't work for me, just pulls up blanks even when I'm already signed in to Flickr. I'm going to trash it and try reinstalling but if that doesn't work I'm going to try to find version 1.0 and reinstall it. I really liked this program--when it worked.

ODDYSSEEY  Please try quitting flickery, removing the preferences file - it's in /Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/at.EternalStorms.flickery.plist

and restarting flickery. It will ask you to authorize again - since it's lost its "connection" to your account - but then it will pull in all your info again and should work like a charm!

If you need further support, please, do not hesitate to write me at support (at) eternalstorms (dot) at

I hope I could help you!

Thanks,

Matthias

JAYCE  I downloaded Flickery today, looked at the web tutorials, and found the app to work as promised. Not only does it upload without hiccups (so far, at least) but it allows easy access to my contacts' accounts so I can browse their new pictures in one corner of my screen while I'm doing something else, examine the ones I really like, and comment on them right away. I also like the convenience of being able to see which photos I've already added to Flickr but I'm not sure how fast all the reloads would work on a dial-up connection.

This app is certainly worth its current sales price, and it looks like one that is going to be even better in its next updates. I didn't need the 15-day trial period to find out how useful it is.

If I had used this program longer and with more photos, I think the Stability rating would have been higher. Right now I don't have enough time with it to know.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  The 'b' in the filename designates that it is a beta software, you're likely encountering a bug that may be addressed in a future update.

ROSENKRIEGER  FYI got a Mail from the author of flickery...

Regarding the invalid API key thing:

flickr.com temporarily "pulled the plug" on my API key I'm using in flickery for communicating with flickr.com. Apparently, they weren't aware of how much traffic my app would cause them :)

They seem to have re-enabled it for now, but I can't say how long it will last.

I'm in talk with them and currently waiting for them to reply.

Please keep an eye on my blog (http://web.mac.com/oddysseey) for updates on this. Thanks.
