DESCRIPTION
Mumble is a low-latency, high-quality voice communications tool primarily intended for use while gaming. It is open source, licensed under the revised BSD license.
Mumble includes game linking, so voice from other players comes from the direction of their in-game location, and has echo cancellation so the sound from your loudspeakers won’t be audible to other players.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.1.8 adds a bunch of new Positional Audio plugins, new means of event notification as well as a lot of bugfixes and other improvements to the client. The server's resource usage has been optimized and the Ice-RPC interface extended with new functionality. This release concludes the 1.1 series of Mumble.
