MISTER K  Excellent piece of software. Simple, elegant and a perfect design. This program really has the little Mac touch we all appreciate. The export feature for Keynote is useful to impress your audience.

But what distinguishes Bee Docs has a company, is their excellent customer service.

I made a mistake and paid a full version software instead of the upgrade. The developer answers me quickly and made the proper refund. They are so kind and attentive to customer’s needs.

We sometimes read bad anecdotes in reviews. I think it's important to share good ones too.

MACINTOSH SAUCE  After playing around with the demo, I purchased the educational version of this program since I am studying to become a secondary Social Science teacher.

This program is so wonderful for Social Science courses, especially History - it will make my lectures come alive. Along with Keynote, this program is going to be a great tool in making my classes the place to be.

CASTLE  No problem projecting the timeline here (though I've only tried with mirrored displays). What I would like to see, though, are more advanced (or at least easier) printing options, so a long timeline can be scaled down, exporting to Flash would also be great, and the ability to prioritise certain events, so on really busy timelines some events don't get pushed off the page. The keys used to navigate through a 3D timeline are also strange — I'd like to be able to hit the space bar to move to the next event on a timeline in 3D mode. Perhaps allow the user to define the keys? A great app, but surprisingly few options.

RED_STATE  Not alot of functionality beyond just adding some dates and colors. I found that the 3d features weren't viewable on a projection screen.

Printing features were good.

Overall, I give it an average. Apple was reaching with giving them an award.

It's affordable at the lower cost of $40 but not at the higher price.

GEOPICK  I have and like the standard version of Timeline. The 3D version has some interesting possibilities, but the downloadable demo only shows you the one trick - foldout labels. For a $25 sidegrade, it's a little hard to justify the investment for minimal effects. What about pop-out and/or tilting events? Warping of the entire timeline field? Putting an event on a bulge in the timeline background?

HANLERYO  Finally! A solution for making interactive timelines without having to learn and wrestle with Flash.

Messing around with it a bit and I must say that it looks to be a promising start.
