MAHOJAS  Works just perfectly for me on my MBP. I found this as the solution for this kind of conversion on Apple's web site. Great work.

ALEP23  The previous version worked ok for a few files but this one doesn't work at all. It just opens the progress window with "Finished sucessfully" and that's it. Using iMac G5 w/ 10.5.5.

TCURDT  There is a command line tool called nrg2iso. But it's quite old. Not sure it will still work with new images. Heard rumors that you can just rename a toast file to iso and that is supposed to be enough. But I never tried that ...and frankly speaking I doubt it will work - at least in all cases.

GANNET  OS X can read toast images (maybe nero too?) so if you want to convert toast to ISO, just open it with Disk Utility and convert to "CD/DVD Master" (which is equivalent to ISO).

SMTIPS  This program did not work. Dragged the UIF to it and got something about BLHR data can't be read. 10.5.3.

TCURDT  Unfortunately they keep changing the format. So for newer files you might have to blame MagicISO. It's a cat and mouse game.

RICKY LEE  So far I've not found any Mac app that can convert uif to iso even commercial softwares like Toast, Disco etc. "uif2iso4mac" works as mentioned and flawlessly plus it is FREE so what else can we say? UIF is a proprietary standard format for MagicISO on windows, if anyone wants to image a disc - please use ISO - it is the best format for cross platform purpose and most widely supported regardless on Mac or Windows!
