uif2iso4mac... You've got a UIF file from a friend and have no clue how to use it on your Mac? No need to go and boot up your old Windows PC (if you still have one). Just drop the file into UIF2ISO for Mac and it will convert it into a standard ISO format. The ISO you can just use with OS X. Open it. Burn it.
RICKY LEE So far I've not found any Mac app that can convert uif to iso even commercial softwares like Toast, Disco etc. "uif2iso4mac" works as mentioned and flawlessly plus it is FREE so what else can we say? UIF is a proprietary standard format for MagicISO on windows, if anyone wants to image a disc - please use ISO - it is the best format for cross platform purpose and most widely supported regardless on Mac or Windows! (Version 1.0.4)
MACHSPEED5 used it once to convert an uif to iso (duh) and it works like it says it does! no complaints, nice progress bar and its free! 5 stars. Thanks dev, great app. (Version 1.3.1)
MAHOJAS Works just perfectly for me on my MBP. I found this as the solution for this kind of conversion on Apple's web site. Great work. (Version 1.3.1)
ALEP23 The previous version worked ok for a few files but this one doesn't work at all. It just opens the progress window with "Finished sucessfully" and that's it. Using iMac G5 w/ 10.5.5. (Version 1.1.2)
TCURDT There is a command line tool called nrg2iso. But it's quite old. Not sure it will still work with new images. Heard rumors that you can just rename a toast file to iso and that is supposed to be enough. But I never tried that ...and frankly speaking I doubt it will work - at least in all cases. (Version 1.1.2)

GANNET OS X can read toast images (maybe nero too?) so if you want to convert toast to ISO, just open it with Disk Utility and convert to "CD/DVD Master" (which is equivalent to ISO). (Version 1.1.2)
