Note: Squirrel 0.8.2 uses a new algorithm to calculate how much each transaction is worth in your base currency, and uses an all new database structure. You will not be able to downgrade to Squirrel 0.8.1 if you donʼt have a database backup. Before testing this beta, it is highly recommended that you backup your database.

DESCRIPTION
Squirrel is a simple finance application. It has been designed for users who want a simple way to track and plan their finances.
DEREKJAB I bought a licence in the hope that someone was trying to produce a decent finance app for the Mac, but looks like more wasted money.
Development is painfully slow (school is obviously taking up too much time) and the latest 0.61 is even buggier than the last with no running balance available now.
DONPERREAULT Don't feel bad I did the same. (Version 0.7.5)

COMPUTA-TUTA Moving along well now. Got recurring transactions, many bugs fixed and still looks great. Reports are very basic and recurring transactions would look better in list form but updates coming through thick and fast. Squirrel does need a vchr/chq field but it's close to being a very good finance program and I feel I've chosen well buying into this! (Version 0.6.1)
JICHO Using Squirrel for a while now, the interface is the best I've found. I just works like I want it to work! The developer is responding quickly. From time to time the updates come quick and slow. I'm not complaining, Squirrel just works :)
I've tried other, this product just worked like I wanted to work!
The iPhone App works perfectly with the Mac "App" and is getting better and better.
Hopefully there will be a new update in the near future! (Version 0.7.5)
Reported bugs 8 months ago, nothing happened. If you got no time for bug fixing and improving a beta software you should stop selling your software. You re wasting people´s time and money. (Version 0.7.5)
NORAA Very nice program. The UI is gorgeous and simple to use. There currently aren't too many features, but for basic account balancing and finance tracking it works wonderfully. I would like to see some more features in upcoming releases, such as the ability to put in recurring payments, more control over the graphs (colors, what gets graphed, etc.)
Overall though, for a program that hasn't hit 1.0 yet it is remarkable stable and polished. (Version 0.5.1)
I sticked with iBank for a long time which has grown to a monster within the years.
Squirrel is a lightweighted yet feature rich finance application which perfectly fits my needs. Advanced features for keeping an overview over my finances and track my overall spendings are bundled in a beautiful and easy to use interface.
Add a responsive developer, a vivid support forum and regular useful updates and you have a 5 star application! (Version 0.8b1)
