DESCRIPTION
DMG Architect... Easily add your own custom window backgrounds, files and icons. Total WYSIWYG control of everything including background image and window location. Use any image for your container icon, not just .ICNS files. Even change the icon of files already added to a project. No artwork? No problem. Choose a theme from our gallery of backdrops and icons.
  • Build: Revise your project as often as you need and at any stage. Add and update text without editing your background images. Typos are painless to fix. Accessing your Mac’s powerful security features is easier than ever - add encryption for extra protection. Don’t forget the End User License Agreement. Putting legal notices where they belong is simple.
  • Release: Burn your project directly to CD or DVD, no need for other apps. Release your project as a tamper-proof disk image.
WHAT'S NEW

  • Rename files within DMG Container, by double clicking or by selecting option from right click menu
  • Objects are now restricted within container DMG window and will not move out of it
  • Many more enhancements.

JOSH DYE  There is really no need for this, all you have to do is create a read/write image of your files first/ Then to get a backgroung- just add your image to the disk, select that picture in View Options & "/developer/tools/setfile -V PATHTOIMAGE" in the terminal. It is also easy to change the disk icon :-)

But if you want to pay to change the default file icon- be my guest  (Version 1.0.5)

APFELZ  good app - no question…

- but the developers punish you to buy a new license in case of a hardware failure (if you had to buy a new Mac)

so good luck guys - I will trash the app now and search for another one…

what a shame!  (Version 1.0)
