    ****.

ALPHABETICA  MonsterText is a clever program. I really like the concept of having a wordprocessor, browser, and note page in a "single window" (actually three joined windows). It definitely speeds up my workflow which typically consists of outlining a paper, finding relevant information on the web to expand my information, and noting relevant comments on the research or on the paper for my own convenience.

I know of no other OSX program that has this tripartite functionality. I appreciate being able to choose the wordprocessor's background color (pale creme in my case) to separate that sector from the browser and to make the insertion point yet another color (red in my case). These are both well thought out details of MonsterText.

I've tried hundreds of demo programs in the 24 years I've been using a Mac and only a very few have become keepers. Monstertext is a keeper for it originality and usefulness.

I hope the developer has the opportunity to continue with the devlopment of this original program.

HAIRBALL183  "Right at home" was bad wording. My bad.

Did you even download the app before writing this comment? When you posted your comment did you see the default text in the text field that said "Please back up your claims with reasons? Thanks for the feedback on the toolbar, that is actually useful. The background color can be customized, made transparent, etc. Try running the thing before you insult it.

    *....

ZANGIEF  First, it doesn't have anything I want. Why would I download it, then?

Second, why do I need a purple background? Trash the colour thing.

Third, why is the toolbar floating around in the purple sea of colour? Integrate it.

Let's see a real app, not just a joke.

HAIRBALL183  Firstly, did you even try downloading it? Did you look at the website to see what it had? Please tell me you did not take the "It has the features you need, not the features you want" thing seriously.

Secondly, If you had even downloaded it, you would have seen that you can *customize!* the background. Maybe some people get tired of the same old brushed metal. Maybe some people like having half opaque windows.

Third, This is the most useful thing you said in your entire comment. Thank you.

I like getting feedback on my apps, so I can make them better, but try downloading the thing before you start spewing off bugs and feature requests.

EBEL3003  Not sure what you consider "right at home", but this isn't it. Remove the background color and add a standard Mac OS X toolbar, and then I'll give it a go.
