MACCOLAR  I have ever try this software a few days ago. I think it has an easy-to-use interface and works pretty good for me. And here is a step by step guide about how to use it

SAGITTAE  I've reviewed Aimersoft's DVD Studio Pack for Mac, of which DVD Ripper is a part. The DVD copy portion of Studio Pack works about as well as the free Mac The Ripper v3. The Ripper software however is VERY slow to the point of being useless, especially as compared to Handbrake as mentioned in other reviews below. If Aimersoft can update the video converting engine the product would be worth it.  (Version 1.1.32.2)

BERMUDAAL  This program is not ready for customer use - it's still an early stage Beta. I bought it to rip a few DVDs which Handbrake had trouble with. It took over 40 hours to rip a single DVD on a 2008 PowerMac with 16 gig of Ram! The same DVD takes 40 minutes with Handbrake.

Tech support was responsive, but insisted on sending me patches and having me try all sorts of things to modify the program's package. Their instructions were unclear and the patch they referred to was not what they sent, and in general I didn't get the idea they knew what was up on the Mac platform.

Although the company's refund policy states they will give you a refund if the product doesn't work, they refused to do so despite several requests. Instead, they said kept saying they had a "trial" version (true) and thus I should keep trying to work with them to fix the problem.

I didn't PURCHASE a product to be their beta-tester. Nor should you. Stay away.  (Version 1.1.26)
