DESCRIPTION
Pocket Universe widget displays the brightest 300 stars, constellation names, and Sun and Moon positions (and lunar phase). Each view is created live on your Dashboard (no Internet access required), with an easy-to-use user interface. This is an early release, and more features are forthcoming.

Version 0.5.2:

Note: Please uninstall any existing version before installing this version, or it may “lock up” on the default view. If it continues to lock up, please uninstall all versions, and restart your computer. Sorry for the inconvenience!

  • Fixes longitude issue for every location, exposed by the v0.5.1 “fix”. Sometimes I wish the Earth were flat, as it would simplify things a LOT. :-) Hey, that’s why it’s still a 0.x release!

    STEVEN GOODHEART  What a great little widget! Works great on my G5 iMac, and the developer's site promises constellation outlines and planets as future updates.

    Had problems trying to get this via MacUpdate, so I went to the developer's site. If you have this problem, try this url:
