DESCRIPTION
Exibia allows clients in a multi-user, multi-platform environment to upload and schedule QuickTime-compatible videos to a centrally-located server. The Exibia Server, connected to a cable television system for broadcast, handles the scheduling and playback of the video content. Users of any platform can easily upload and schedule videos for playback using their web browser.

In English: Anyone with a Mac or a PC can use Exibia to schedule multimedia content to play on a school's cable television system. Since Exibia handles the scheduling, there is no guesswork involved. No need to hook up an LCD projector or television directly to the computer, Exibia lets you effortlessly use the television equipment already in place in many schools.

SHTHOMAS13  Our elementary school loves Exibia software. Not only can teachers easily, through a user-friendly web interface, schedule videos they have downloaded themselves, but the software recognizes enhanced podcasts and any movie teachers may create themselves with their students. While we love an LCD projector in every room connected to a computer to view lessons, we have not acquired one per classroom, and even if we attain that status, teachers have told me they would still use Exibia to watch video because there's no physical hookups! Our school dedicates one of our channels in the MATV system to provide this quick and easy service for our teachers, which in turn, enhances students learning. The scheduling is easy and teacher-driven....no more waiting for the media center to "pop in the video" for channel "so-and-so!!!" Thanks, Plyxim!
