DESCRIPTION
Interface Kit makes it easy to add and use additional System controls that are not available in REALBasic. The Interface Kit cross-matches controls across Macintosh & Windows, making it easier to provide similar experiences while keeping consistent with each platform. Most of these controls are drawn by the system and use the very latest code for maximum speed and compatibility. These controls take are Core Graphics Powered on the Macintosh.

Some of the controls available with the Interface Kit

  • Buttons: Gradient, Textured, Help, Rounded Rect, Windows Command Link
  • Sliders: non-directional, down, up and Relevance bar
  • Multi-state: Checkboxes, Radio Buttons & Disclosure Buttons.
  • Segment Views: Inset, Navigation, Text Direction & Style

AIKOUSHA  At $150 you can buy a better programming environment, or get lessons on how to code with Xcode and Interface Builder. After all, this is just a tiny library. It might be perfect, but the price isn't.

IINDIGO  Costs far too much to add what is free and standard in Cocoa to RB. Might be worth $15, at most.

RADDLE  I think people will accept a cost to add these (because RealBasic comes with an ease-of-use that Cocoa/Xcode doesn't have...) but yes, a hundred and fifty bucks really is beyond ambitious!

At 20, you'd have a customer. Maybe even 30. But 150 is more likely to have people wearily reaching for an Xcode beginner's manual instead...
