X360 ISO Hacker... The known Mac DVD burners can not set the Layer Break. If you try to burn a not hacked ISO image, it will not work on XBox360. This utility solves this problem with a little trick. It appends 0s to end of ISO image. After hacking, you can burn your ISO file with Burn application.

I tested the ISOs with Toast Titanium, but it always cancel burning randomly with Hardware error. Tested more than 5 ISO image, burned by Burn.app and every game is starting on XBox360.

BADR I am surprised MacUpdate is hosting this but hey...

If you have a modded xbox360 (check http://360mods.net for more information), you can use this application to burn the DVD DL for the game. Note you should only use this program to create a backup of a game you already have... Dont pirate games!!! P-)

If you dont have a modded console, this program will not work for you, if you are not into modding pass this one...

Otherwise it works as advertised. Its free so don't bitch about it either.

My xbox isn't modded- which I am pretty sure it isn't supposed to be, I used a legit .iso

all it is giving me is a "Play DVD" option right now on the xbox360 and is only playing the "insert this into an xbox to be played" video, even though it is IN the xbox.

If the developer would be willing to help me, I'd be perfectly willing to change my rating...

otherwise, I'm really sorry but I don't think I'm doing anything wrong.

KRINKONE Silly, of course you need a modded 360. This app will not work unless your 360 is flashed with a custom firmware.

Works great! I had about 60+ successful burns.

Don't you think the title of the application gives ya kind of that idea? Should the author be blamed because you didn't do your own investigation??? Do you assume a lot? Do you realize everytime you assume you make a... you get the idea...

The reason why I wrote a strong rebuttal to your "review" was because it wasn't fair to the product. You simply gave it a 1 star, because after burning your games you figured... "gee, maybe I need a modded Xbox360... why didn't I think of that earlier...", it pissed you off and you thought, "That stupid n00b didn't tell me I had to haxor my firmware on my 3600 l33t".

In other words you weren't objective. Its not the Author's responsibility to explain to you how life works, in order for you to use his free product.

Had you detailed other things in your review, like ease of use, or compatibility, or how it works with Tiger or Leopard, or how it did the job or didnt do the job it is advertised on doing, and based on that if the application sucked you could have given it a 1 star review.

When you write an objective review I will complement your review but you are getting a level of critic based on the level of your own review. If you don't like it dont post it... but otherwise don't trash software because you didnt have the IQ to figure what to do with it.

P0LY_ its worked on over a dozen games for me. it even allowed me to burn my games over the network, so i didnt need to use 7gigs wasted space on my mac. its easy, its simple, fool proof. 5 stars!

p.s. the only app you need.

TATTOOTROY hello i used this file and it messed up my 7gig iso and it dont work in leopard . how do i undo the 000s that it add to the iso so i can burn this with img-burn in windows . regards

DAGOWATT What did you mean on mess up your ISO? After hacking, check your new ISO size, you must get 7,838,760,960 Byte.

I developed and tested it on Leopard.

DAGOWATT App quit / crash when you try to copy Original Game DVD.

Other known bug: App crash when the DVD has special Read error. This is an OSX bug, if you try rip your DVD via Terminal with dd command, you will get same result. DD will also crash.

JUST1MAC i have 0.2g, with the same result. It crash after creating the iso and asks to quit, relaunch etc. I close the app and use iBurn360 to burn the iso at 4x, and so far no problems with the game. i did have one game freeze, but that just may be the product of the dvd flash/hack
