DESCRIPTION
Blue Crab Lite is a stripped down version of Blue Crab that you use to download websites.
It was created for those who don't need all the bells and whistles of Blue Crab, derived from its "Quick Grabber" feature.
Blue Crab Lite is part of the Limit Point Software Utilities Bundle : http://www.limit-point.com/Utilities.html. Purchase a Utilities password to activate all the utilities, including Blue Crab Lite. Updates are always free, new products always included!
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.0.4:
- A new preferences window adds options for logging and crawling "offsite" domains, i.e. URLs whose domain does not match the starting URL.
- Offsite URLs are always remapped, i.e. HTML files that contain links to these URLs are modifed to point to the corresponding downloaded files.
- The log contains all the same messages that appear in the status window, as well as extracted URLs during the crawling process.
- The pause button is now hidden when the crawling completes.
Version 1.0.3:
- You can now drag URLs and locations from Safari, FireFox and other browsers onto the Dock Icon to open a grabber window for that URL.
Version 1.0.2:
- You can now drag favicon's from Safar's location field onto the Dock icon for Blue Crab Lite to open a grabber window for that URL.
