BSANDERS  This is by far the best standalone youtube download I have ever used. Ive used many different products including the popular ones like tube sock and tubetv and I can honestly say that they just dont compare. Im not the most technical user, and honestly, thats what makes tooble so great. It is so easy to use. I recommend it to all my friends.

Personally, I use it to take my favourite youtube show with me. I travel a lot and am always giving presentations and tooble its a life saver. I can use it to get the videos I want for my presentation and put them in my powerpoint with out waving to worry about embedding the youtube link and take a change with internet connectivity.

The biggest thing about tooble is that it actually works. I look at other review suggesting products like tubesock and tubetv, and I dont understand. Those products barely work and crash all the time. I think they just gotten popularity by name but no one suggesting them actually uses them because if they did, they would know tooble is the way to go.

In conclusion, this is fantastic, and the few times I needed support the developers were great.

ROBERTCOOGAN2  This would be even better if there was a way to disable the auto-import into iTunes. I keep my YouTube videos in a separate folder, and don't want them in iTunes. So each time I save a video I have to go into iTunes, select the video, select Show in Finder, and then copy+paste to the desktop, go back to iTunes, and then delete the video. A pain.

CHAOTICPIXEL  Doesn't work on my G5 PPC PowerMac. Crashed all the time. When I could get it to load, it would not download anything, kept getting errors. Great in theory, poor in practice.

NIGEL2112  First, nowhere does it state that Tooble needs another component (called 'Perian') to function. Only after the app is installed does this show itself and asks to be downloaded.

It slowed my system right down and crashed so I removed it.

Could be that I'm on 10.5.7

ROSENKRIEGER  First of all - let me thank you for this wonderful little time waster - its changed my way of using YouTube. Makes it alot easier to surf and watch videos for me!

I just did a testdrive with Tubular, which is a PAID app and I must say - Tooble beat's it in the aspect of speed ( which is critical for me ) by a mile!

The only addition I am wishing for now ( since I saw it in Tubular ) is the possibility to ad a video to my favorite list within YouTube from within Tooble.
