CNJARTIST  I purchased a licence for this so I could stream content from my Mac running Snow Leopard to my PS3 Slim. I have to say it's the biggest piece of crap I ever used, or should say, tried to use. It crashes almost every time I use it and their web site doesn't even have any support content other than their contact info. Stay very far away from this and save your money.

TRONDAH  Almost there is an overstatement I think. They just bundled mencoder and it doesn't work properly. Sound is cracking and there's no support for subtitles.

ZX  Almost there!

.mkv files are now supported..the problem is that the sound is not really working and 1080P playback is not perfect. Hopefully this will improve in later versions.

SICHAN  I found the only way I could get this b1 version and the last a1 version to stream video to my PS3 via an ethernet connection was to trash the album art preview component. If I didn't do this all I would get was a DNLA error followed by my PS3 telling me all my files were corrupted.

Also, this version automatically transcodes all .wmv files. This is a bit annoying as the PS3 is already compatible with most WMVs and I assume that transcoding them on the fly can only lead to a drop in quality. It would be better if there was an option to turn off automatic transcoding.

KRAIZED  I too am having problems with this supposed 2.0b1 release. Going back to 2.0a1 works perfectly. I've uploaded 2.0a1 to the following URL for anyone that didn't have a backup copy. :)

TURBO1977  Just lately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! errors happen every time i stream .avi's! from an imac wireless through medialink, i get 20mins into a film then error!!!! never had error since the update!!! whats going on. GETTING FRUSTRATED. Its either an Elan error, when all connections are correct or an 80000BLAH-BLAH-BOLLOCKS, cannot read file .error code. This happens even on files i have watched repeatedly in the past. Also whats the point of having a support line on the website, asking to fill in your e-mail address and details when you cant be fucking arsed to reply. SORT IT WHEN WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.

VESPIDAE  I had the same trouble with this update. Seems as though it's reading the files OK but the transcoder to generate movie/picture thumbnail is causing it to crash/stop.

I've reverted back to 2.0a1 and everything is working OK.

DSCHLENKER  Just upgraded to 2.0b1 after being notified about the latest update. When I go to my media folder it only displays about 8 titles then stalls.. then disconnects. Running 64bit version of OS X. Wish I'd kept a copy of 2.0a1 as it was more stable than this one. Looks like I'm not the only one with issues, hopefully a new version will roll out soon!
