DORKYPANTS This is a poorly written piece of software. (1) You can't install it unless you're logged in as a userid with admin privileges. (2) It installs within a folder in the Applications folder, read-writeable only by the userid that created it. (3) It creates files within that folder for its data rather than using files in the user's Library/Preferences and/or Library/Application Support folder, thus making it impossible for anyone but the admin userid that installed the app. to run it. When you do manage to get it running, you have to tell it what stock exchange to search for the item you want to add -- and it can't find some index mutual funds at all. Useless! It looks and feels like it's ported from another platform (Windows?) (Version 2.2) |
