Thanks for continuing your incredible support of this awesome widget. I did have one feature request that has come up in the midst of these frequent minor updates: Is there a way that you could implement the updates so that every time we need to re-install the widget for update purposes, the widgets we usually have open remain open and saved? For instance, I always have three widgets open: NBA, MLB, and NFL. I have my favorite teams selected as: BOS Celtics, BOS R-Sox, & NE Patriots (no comments please). Every time I update the widget, I have to open up all three widgets and choose my favorite teams and reposition the widgets all over again. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks so much. If any users could let me know, that would be great. (Version 1.3.28)

ANDREAS AMANN There is no built-in support for widget upgrades in the Dashboard. However, you probably want to take a look at "Smart Widget Installer": (Version 1.3.28)

JDANEK630 Thank you so much - your suggestion worked perfectly! (Version 1.3.28)

JIMBLUE i'm not a big widget person at all. i tried hundreds of them when they first came out and decided most just aren't worth the while. i let about six of apple's widgets come through -- and two 3rd party ones: iStat and Sports Fan. it's sooo useful with its live updating. remember that scene in The Matrix when this guy is looking at the screen of numbers and symbols falling down the computer screen and he says he sees right past it and all he sees is a beautiful blonde or streets and buildings, etc.? that's how i feel about this widget - i can follow the triangles -- see who's on what base, at bat, pitching -- and follow a game like i'm there. well done. JDANEK630 This widget does everything that it says it does. I have never run into any problems with the widget after one full year of use. There have been no network or CPU performance hindrances as a result of the widget. My only suggestion would be to offer an even "larger text" option for team names and scores. I have my resolution set to 1920x1200 on my 17" MBP. When I set the Sports Fan Widget preference to, "larger text", the text still appears rather small, albeit a bit larger than the standard preference. All in all, a fantastic widget that actually does what the developer says it does - nothing more, nothing less. (Version 1.3.24)

JDANEK630 P.S. A special thanks to the developer for continuing to provide updates. I hope he or she reads this, it's important for developers to know that users appreciate the work that they continue to do on the apps/widgets we use. (Version 1.3.24)

JONNYG75 For some reason when i'm using the NBA scoreboard, and i advance past the current day, it always says no games are scheduled. This has been happening for a long while and i'm hoping i can figure out what's causing it or it will get fixed. I really enjoy this app for its simplicity and seeing the upcoming schedule to find out what time and who my team plays later on this week is one of its best and most simple features, yet its not working anymore. I've tried re-installing/ re-downloading it and still doesn't work. Any suggestions? (Version 1.3.19)

ANDREAS AMANN This issue is fixed in 1.3.20. P.S.: If you send me an email alerting me of a problem you probably will get a resolution faster as I will be aware of the problem sooner. (Version 1.3.19)

I use this at work too and find it much faster than official sites. (Version 1.3.16)

SBCHAVEL Great widget. It would be even better if you could change sports much more easily so you could use a single widget to track all the sports rather than take up much Dashboard desktop space with so many for all the different sports you like to track. (Version 1.3.7)

WALLYDOG Seems to work well, but how do you open more than one "instnace" of the widget? When I try to install again, it replaces the copy of the widget already there. (Version 1.1)

ANDREAS AMANN This is a general question on Dashboard usage and is described in Mac Help under "Displaying Dashboard widgets": You can display several widgets in Dashboard at once. You can also display more than one of the same widget. [...] To display one or more widgets: Press the F12 key to open Dashboard, and then click the Open (+) button at the lower-left corner of the screen to reveal the widget bar. Click a widget’s icon or drag it out of the widget bar to use it. (you can drag as many copies as you like of the same widget from the widget bar to the Dashboard - each individual copy will remember its settings). Andreas Amann (Version 1.1)

WALLYDOG Thank you Andreas Amann, that worked perfectly. I didn't know you could drag widgets. (Version 1.1)

ROBERT MORTON If you like sports, I can't imagine how you would not like these. With the changing versions, upgrading could be easier, but that is all I can think of that is a minor annoyance. (Version 1.1)

REDDAWG123 Great Widget, my only suggestion is that you implement the widget in a viral platform. I am familiar with Clearspring at http://www.clearspring.com/ so sign-up, it takes 30 seconds, and then check it out. (Version 1.0)

RIQAY Have been using the baseball and football widgets throughout the 2007 seasons. The design of the widgets is excellent, feature set is complete, and updates are frequent. This integration is a fantastic idea and it works great! (Version 1.0)
