  • Dynamic previews
  • One-click pause/resume
  • Ignore large clippings
WHAT'S NEW

  • Double-click clippings to paste them
  • Web clippings can now be edited
  • Ignore application list ensures clippings from those applications aren't recorded

KENARONI  Very slick and all, but I just want to mouseover the thing in the column that I want to paste, doubleclick it, and have it paste. I know you're supposed to click the "stamp" icon to paste items, but I don't like the icon bar that appears directly over the thing I want to paste, which completely obstructs my view.

DON GMT  I'm searching for a replacement of iClip - which doesn't work under Snow Leo anymore. I found iClipboard, but it's a pitty:

Unfortunately iClipboard does not work with ArchiCAD.

COOKIE08  I am trying this out again and I must say this is working really well it is fast similar in concept to iClip 4 but way faster and more responsive with a clean interface. The price is not that much different to say copypaste pro a $20 dollar upgrade. Have found it very stable no pauses even when copying very large clips on a Leopard G5 1.8 dual 7gig ram

AKROBAT  I'm so glad version 2 has been released. Version 1 users like myself can upgrade at only $14.95! Fantastic, I can buy the same application again at only half the cost while receiving less than 10% of the benefits.

Thank you but No!

PASTOR G  I like the concept. The stated functionality is appealing and lead me to download and install iClipboard. Now on every restart it wants to install the preference pane. Unfortunately, it will not actually do so. Instead it errors and must be canceled.

I would really like to see this work. I like the feature list but for now I'll stay with the tried and true iClip even though it has gotten really long in the tooth.

VANCOUVER2010  Based on long-standing bugs in SOHO notes(and to be truthful, Notes has always been buggy), Im clearing a wide birth between my downloads folder and iClipboar2 and other chronos products.

The latest iClipBoard gets rave reviews for outstanding marketing and publicity. And their GUI is impressive. Even the eye candy makes my click-to-puchase mouse finger quiver, but as tempted as I am to try it - it's the tech support/Adam that I have lost any faith in.

Don't expect a streamlined process to submit your tech requests, or a polite offer of help, and certainly don't expect timely support. I sent them three urgent requests over a period of several days before receiving any acknowledgement. I don't know if they are understaffed, poorly trained, or have no undertanding of "customer support" or just not very talented. But I won't buy any chronos products in future as a result of a buggy SOHO notes and (non-existent)support.

ESPIRIDION  This should be a free update. I purchased iClipboard and used it probably one time.

I have no problem with Chronos and their other applications. I did wait many years after using Chronos Consultant under OS 9 and SOHO Organizer 6. I even got a free upgrade to version 7. I probably should have done the same with iClipboard and waited until version 3 or 4. Version 1 was pretty bad. I'm not upgrading to version 2.

PTH Pasteboard is still my choice for a clipboard application.

GAKESMITH  Unbelievable! Chronos— how could you?? Version 1.1 never worked correctly. It was bug ridden. For instance, 1.1 promised plain text paste but it never did work. Now you say this is a "new" feature in 2.0 and you charge for it. Chronos is an unethical developer that charges upgrade fees for bug fixes! Just go and check out the reviews of SOHO Notes and SOHO Organizer.

BIGCLOITS  Developer did not respond to a very simple pre-sales question. I probably would have bought the software otherwise, but I don’t buy from developers that can’t be bothered to answer their email.
