BLUEBIRD  I love this app. The ability to make the app a menuextra is fantastic. I'm using it in conjunction with Evernote.com to always have my Evernote notes available in the menubar. I also have one of my business sites in the menubar to quickly help customers when on the phone in Customer Service. Fantastic time saver. Developer is great at updating what needs fixed and improved.

DENTALMAC  Security question. This app have not been updated in over six months. Is this a concern or does it use an underlying framework such as Safari that gets updated independently?

BCWINTERS  Can't believe how quickly Fluid has radically altered the way I use my Mac. No more juggling tabs and windows in Safari to keep an eye on Gmail or the bug tracker at work...now I have separate apps for each one. How about a mini-browser for Hulu that floats above my other windows...or a preview browser for website development that never gets its tabs mixed in with my personal browsing? You get the gist--Fluid makes it possible, not to mention dead simple. I don't think I could work without it anymore.

/USR/BIN/PAUL  THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting us PPC users. I couldn't use Prism because it's Intel only and the newest Safari with Snow Leopard is also Intel only. I wanted Fluid for my Google Reader account, as it seems there are not many good Google Reader clients out there. This app is very snappy/quick and I love all the extra features. Really feels like an app on my desktop. Thanks again.

JDUB800  After this newest update Fluid and it's instances appear to crash on site loading. Yes, I do have Safari 4b installed, but this update was meant to fix this?

RAMPANCY  The 0.9.5 messed up all of my existing SSB's; they all wouldn't open, giving me an error message saying something to the effect of "the application is not supported by the architecture on this computer". I'm still staying with my old 0.9.2.4 version.

MACLOVIN  The plugins part of the preferences has disappeared in some of my apps, so I can no longer edit the options for the thumbnail plugin.

JEDIK  I've tried to use Fluid for a while but run into a couple of problems:

1. Setting 'Accept cookies only from sites you navigate to' does not work, Gmail complains for instance, although it works with Safari;

2. The RSS button does not open the link in the default RSS reader, but in the default browser instead;

3. Showing the current in the Status Bar even when mousing over other links is annoying at least;

4. App crashed when trying to run a Java applet (it works fine in Safari/Camino);

5. Maybe the worst, 'middle-click' on links does NOT open them in another tab like all other browsers do, COMMAND+click works tho;

6. Links that open in a new window aren't redirected to a new tab, i.e. single window mode isn't possible.

Suggestions:

- Allow the user to run Fluid as a normal browser even if s/he doesn't want to create a SSB. It will probably increase your user base and also allow newbies to use it and test its incredible nifty add-ons like the Cover Flow/Clipping plugins;

- Make the 'Mail this link' use the default mail application and not only Mail.app;

- as it's a SSB it would be nice to open RSS feeds in an online service as option, like Camino/Firefox do;

- allow some kind of user CSS like Safari or add some kind of 'ad-blocker' feature.

I don't know if the dev look at MacUpdate so I am sending this to his email asap. Thanks and keep it up! =)
