HELIOS9  The Plasmatube Screensaver doesn't seem to be available; I clicked on "download now", but I'm taken to the Innermindmedia website where there's a Plasmatube widget but NO Plasmatube screensaver. Bummer!

BATHEDINBLOOD  I can't seem to get it to work.

There really should have been a proper ReadMe file included.

I placed both the .qtz file and the tubes folder in my screen savers folder and nothing.

Running Leopard 10.5.1 on Dual G5 PPC

    Little help anyone?

HELIOS9  This little puppy might not be Leopard compatible(yet). I'm running Tiger...10.4.9, and it works just fine here.

HELIOS9  Oops! I've got the Plasmatube widget installed, not the screensaver. My error, sorry!

    ****.

    CARAMBA  - Easy installing

(just drag the Screensaver file and the folder containing the plasma .movs on the alias)

    - Nice mesmerizing effects

    - Works 100% (Mac Pro, OS 10.5)

    - Tiny feature request: make plasma effect speed adjustable

MIKE666  Ya gotta copy the tubes folder along with the qtz file to your screensaver folder. Didn't glean this myself until I viewed the dmg directory in icon view - the background image explains. Developer should have a readme or make it an actual screensaver bundle... On the whole very nice once it's working.

    OZZPOT  Not much happening here...

The image of the tubes is horribly pixelated, and there is no plasma whatsoever. Haven't had a problem with the related products (i.e the plasmatube widget).

    *....

HABERMAS  Using 10.5.1 - get just some boring repeating "geysir" of little particle balls. Lavalamps look about a hundred times better than this junk. Deleted it from my system one minute after downloading.

The screensaver doesn't come with an options menu yet it requires a full folder of datafiles be installed alongside it. Skip this junk and get a decent free screensaver like surveillancesaver, shufflesaver or Electric Sheep.

SHOTGUNWEDDINGS  Nothing happens after I manually copied the screensaver into the Screen Saver folder.

Just get 5 empty tubes and a very faint background of whatever windows I had open in the Finder.
