TEKL  On Snow Leopard the stroke is flickering while drawing - until I release the mouse button.

LOUNGE DELUXE  This app hasn't been updated for more than a year, so I reckon it's save to assume that development of Scribbles has been abandoned. The developer currently offers this app as part of a promo bundle (TheMacBundles) so who knows what his intentions are. I'm glad I only paid 10 bucks and not 20 for this dead end.

PISSNAROUND  I have used this since its inception and personally I think it's one of the best programs written for any purpose on any platform. Something any graphics artist should check out.

MAC66GRAPHICS  I LOVE this program. Opens instantly and is so intuitive. Do wish I could import a JPEG and really take full advantage of the layers.

Can't believe how large a canvas can be, and NO pixelating, unless extremely enlarged. When I don't want to drag out Painter X, this application hits the spot for spontaneity.

SMTIPS  Well I wouldn't call this a DRAWING app. I was looking for something very simple to just make up a flat wall drawing with colors...a preview for painting....and searched for drawing apps. This one came up.

Can't even draw a simple SQUARE with it.

You might want to classify this as a PAINT program...and even silly old (and I do mean old) Windows Paint or Mac Paint would draw a SQUARE with a line.

STRIDER72  This is the coolest stupid little drawing program ever made.

Completely intuitive and a lot of fun to just noodle around with. Helps to have a tablet of course....

"Ease of Use" should get Seven Stars. This is probably the most intuitive interface I've ever seen in a program. This guy could teach Apple a thing or two. :)

LEO SPILL  Interesting interface. Very simple and straight forward to understand. To mess with the minimalist design would probably be detrimental, but I would like to see a color picker/palette in the bottom menu bar ( click and hold on the colored blob and a recent color chart pops up ) A contextual menu option to change paint brush size without having stop drawing. The ability to open a JPEG and paint over it. But these are not really necessary.

My one real request would be to make it more kid friendly. At the moment it's designed with adults in mind, yes Kids can use it but it's all up to them. Their creativity/aptitude only ( Blank slate syndrome - not all Kids are creative whirlwinds ) Needs some bundled worksheets or things to start ideas flowing for the younger Mac users.

K0GG  Have you seen Doozla by Plasq? This is much more Kids orientated with the addition of sounds, colour-in outlines and background to draw on.

STRIDER72  I think this can do "tracing mode", where you are drawing over an existing picture.

Might be a good "kids mode" as you describe. Overlay a lone Power Ranger or something and let the kids draw in the rest of the scene. :)

K0GG  Scribbles is breath-taking. It is the easiest drawing application I have ever used. It is beautifully smooth in every operation. The level of image scaling is unbelievable. Everything is so obvious. I am delighted with it. I bought it immediately.

Scribbles is for freehand drawing and sketching. It is the nearest thing to pen and paper that I have experienced but with the added magic that a computer can bring such as layering and undos. It does not have complex operations and filters but for me this is it's pleasure.
