ABRAC29  A to G successfully transferred most phone numbers from my Apple Address book to Gmail contacts, except phone numbers for businesses. Any advice on how to fix this?

JSANDERSUN  Downloaded the app. Tried to run it and the pop up says "Donate" or "Quit", I donate some funds through paypal (no free anymore I guess), then try to run and same pop up comes up... I'm in a loop and not will to keep donating, so the "Quit" button is the only option.

HELP?

M85  You may have already figured this out, but the file's on your desktop. It worked. It's asking you, post-process, to donate or quit.

NEILSMITH  Mar 10 2009

NEILSMITH I downloaded this app an it lasted all of 3 minutes before I had to chuck it out. I exported and uploaded my contacts to Google just fine except for NO CATEGORIES (clients, personal, active sales prospects, fire dancers, etc). It also would not import phone numbers tagged as "Other" from Address book which means many extra contact numbers I had for people did not go over at all. Then I made a change to a contact on my desktop, exported the address book and then uploaded the updated address book file to Google, and it made a DUPLICATE RECORD on Google - one with the old record and one with the one I just updated. So that means every time I alter a bit of info in a contact, Google will recognize it as an extra record instead of updating the old one. I'm altering info all the time, so this obviously will not work for me and makes this app absolutely useless.

LORENE  I am a long time user of Entourage and not a fan of Apple's Address Book. With Leopard I am finally able to sync my addresses together.

As a back up mail program I use GMail and have always struggled with not being able to have my addresses in it.

Thanks to this wonderful A to G program I now have all 912 people right in Gmail ready for me when I travel.

thank you AGAIN to the great developers of this product.

BBOROFKA  I'm not graphic artist, so if anyone find a suitable icon or is willing to make one, I'd definitely consider it.

ANTHONYMOURNIAN  A to G does the trick. I needed to port my extensive mail list from my Mac to GMail, and A to G helped me do it in minutes. When it was moved to GMail I had the chance to weed out all the addresses I had not used in some time, and to clean up the rest. It's a freebie, but it is invaluable. Thank you for the effort it took to produce it.
