YouTube Video Grabber is a Shareware Mac OS X program that will resolve the internet address for YouTube flash video files from YouTube web page URLs and allow users to download and convert the flash video files to Quicktime MOV files.
To use the program, simply enter the YouTube video web page URL into the "YouTube URL" entry field. If a valid YouTube video web page URL is entered, the pertinent details of the video will be displayed. To download the YouTube flash video to hard disk, simply press the "Download FLV" button. To convert any flash video file to Quicktime MOV format, select a valid flash video file and adjust the conversion settings as desired and simply press the "Convert to MOV" button.
YouTube Video Grabber will allows users to adjust settings for the conversion from flash video files to Quicktime MOV files. The adjustable settings include Audio Frequency (Hz), Audio Bitrate (k), Audio Channels (Mono or Stereo), Video Size (pixel dimensions), Video Bitrate (k), and Video Frame Rate (fps).
NOTE: YouTube Video Grabber requires the LAME Audio Encoder to properly convert from flash video files to Quicktime MOV files.
