LLAACK Same here, registered but have never actually gotten it to work. Crashes every time. Holds a lot of promise but too unreliable (at least on my system) now to be of much use.

RICHCASTILLO I have to take issue with those who give one star rating because they have a crashing problem with an app. First of all, the above is a trouble ticket, not a review and as such, should not have been issued any star rating because it improperly skews the rating and is an abuse. Secondly, I would never blame an app for crashing unless it did it on more than one computer. The chance of some oddball software conflict is just too great to make an immediate assumption. I bought the app on a MacUpdate promo and have not used it a great deal but when I have used it, it has done what it promises to do.

AT Hope that the developer could develop a secured erase data utility for the iPhone and iPod touch. It's a much needed utility.

DOUG S. If I'm not mistaken the iPod Touch can be made to show up as an external volume, correct? That would mean it definitely shows up in Disk Utility. Even if it can't be used in such a manner it still might. Disk Utility has some heavy security features, including the ability to completely wipe a volume and "zero-out" everything a dozen or so times which would make any data unrecoverable.

DUSTYBONES Tried it out on my iPod Nano v3 and can say it worked without a hitch. Highly recommended. Recovered my Podcasts as well.

LANCE2376 Ok, buying this program at that price was a total no brainer for me. Downloaded it, tried it for the alloted 25 demo tracks, went and bought it within 5 minutes of starting up. Definitely delivers as promised with a no nonsense interface, plenty of HUD if you like that as much as I do. Yes, Senuti is free BUT I needed something to copy my playlist off the iPod as well and yeah, that function was definitely worth the money. Kudos to the developer, this is a very handy and extremely useful program.

ELLEE H. When my hard drive crashed during an iTunes Library backup with Apple's Backup utility, I was stuck with an "in progress" bundle that wouldn't restore. I didn't spend a great deal of time comparing offerings in the iTunes/iPod rescue application space; after reading reviews here on MacUpdate I picked TuneAid from DigiDNA. The price was reasonable and the application delivered on its promised results: it restored everything on my iPod back to my iTunes Library. I noticed on MacUpdate that a new version was ready and I upgraded. A new activation key was needed but before I could kvetch about the inconvenience, a new activation key appeared in my Mail inbox. KUKKIS Works perfectly with at least iPhone, iPod Classic and iPod Nano (these are the ones I've tried it with). TuneAid saved my music libery when my media drive crashed and it managed to import back my stuff from my iPod Classic. Great Stuff! The interface is very nice and it works perfectly with iTunes importing not only the songs but the playlists as well.
