TAPPER  This is the best ad blocking add-on for Safari in my opinion. Upon the release of Safari 4, I switched back to Safari instead of Firefox 3.

I wish the developer would add more preference settings like AdBlock Plus on Firefox.

CALL ME YO DADDY  So far I am very impressed with this updated version of Safari Adblock. I've tried other ad blockers for Safari and for some reason or another I just ended up disabling them. However, this is the best one by far. I love the fact that with just one click after adding the "AD" button to Safari I can disable it if I find it is causing a conflict at a site.

It's pretty accurate in my limited testing. It uses the same filter list in Adblock Plus. I've only had to disable it at CNet's video page but doing so only required just one button click.

This makes using Safari much more attractive and enjoyable. Please don't ever stop the development of this plugin. :-)

XARIK  Just a heads-up:

Make sure to uninstall Safari AdBlock if you're planning to update to the latest version of Safari (v3.2.1, included in Software Update), because some kind of system conflict can cause all of your apps to crash at launch. If you're experiencing this, you will have to manually uninstall Safari AdBlock by deleting the Safari AdBlock folder in /Library/InputManagers/ This should restore everything to normal.

153957PHOTOGRAPHY  I have no problems with using AdBlock on Safari 3.2.1..

Safari does crash at times...

but I dont think those are related to AdBlock..

CORPSECORPS  No filter list?!

That's a deal-breaker. After all these years Adblock-Plus for FF is just NOW reaching the point where it goes far enough with the addition of "Element Hiding Filters".

If this were essentially Adblock-Plus for Safari, it would be worth looking into.

CORPSECORPS  You pick a subscription but it doesn't actually show you what's inside and you have to go to prefs to add your own filter.

MICROCHASM  I've been using Safari AdBlock for about a year now. Even though the last version had to be disabled due to Safari issues, the new version (0.3.2) fixed any afari performance issues I encountered.

This is the best ad blocker for Safari that I have used so far (used Safari AdBlock & SafariBlock).

It works so well that I have to temporarily disable it sometimes when redirected to other sites. Small price to pay IMHO.

Great Job!

STANISHJOHND  Would like to see this for Tiger. Leopard upgrade isn't possible on my hardware nor is the purchase of new hardware.

QUAD4B  You could learn the developer tools or work on getting other developers involved to create a Tiger port (version) of this application. Since it's open source you have access to all of the code. Somebody's got to do the work.

DETTO  Very nice plugin/application!

Blocks everything annoying so far automatically without even touching the manual list. But it's there too which is a big plus, and its pretty easy to add entries.

I miss a simple right click option on images/flash-banners though, for easier adding of unwanted things, but keep it simple as it is! SafariBlock and Saft both are too crowded for me.

Cheers and thanks!
