DESCRIPTION
Stomp is a video re-compressor that makes the job of finishing off videos easy. It lets you compress a video and make it much smaller on disk, resize the video (known as cropping) and scale the video (either up or down). You can also add effects to the video - for example, decreasing its brightness.

Captured video can now be converted from any QuickTime format to any other utilizing the same preset model as found in iShowU. Get your videos ready the easy way!

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.8:
  • Update the activation mechanism.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Stomp to crash when starting.
REQUIREMENTS

MACSOLU  They've changed the icon! Boo-hoo! No more Boot, but instead now some generic video icon.

Bring back the Boot!  (Version 1.2)

NERFGUN  This product is shockingly good - especially for such an early version. It's still a beta and you can't buy it as of this writing, but it fills a great need.

It is similar to Handbrake, but Stomp transcodes *any* video file that QuickTime can read, rather than just DVDs.

Capabilities are not quite as robust as FFMpegX but the interface is vastly superior. Also, the processing speed is quite fast.

Looks like a very promising app.  (Version 0.992)
